Many foods have hidden sugars. Did you know that even a little salt contains sugar? Sugar is in almost everything we eat crept. It makes it delicious, but alcohol, ketchup, even orange juice has large amounts of sugar, which also means that things have large amounts of calories. The problem with the sugar in the diet is that sugar is 99.5% pure calories. No vitamins, minerals and proteins not.

A recent study in today’s Journal of the American Medical Association published found that sugar consumption contributes significantly to the health and does so particularly cholesterol. The American Heart Association now urges the consumer to the amount of sugar in their daily diet to reduce. Most people are completely unaware of the amount of sugar in their diet and the potential adverse impact it could have.
